Movie review: Rajdhani Express

Leander Paes Take out of the equation and you do not have much of a reason to even discuss Rajdhani Express, leave alone Considering the notion of watching it.

Not that the tennis ace Substantially adds to the film with charisma or histrionic skills, but Leander's mention in the credits of this film, as duly beefed up his Bollywood debut-at least Gives it some curiosity value.

Yes I am curious, as a fan of his tennis. Why did have to go for Leander Such an apologetic mess if I indeed wanted to make a foray Bollywood? Was I really that desperate for onscreen limelight?

Rajdhani Express is a film That will come and go faster than the holder superfast. The film is billed as a suspense thriller set against a backdrop of realism but it barely has a story. It has neither the imagination to thrill, nor does it reveal any inclination to understand the criminal milieu AIMS at highlighting it.

Leander as Keshav is fleeing from his godfather goon overpowering. He boards the Delhi-Mumbai Rajdhani. In his first-class compartment are three others-a middle-class Bengali (Priyanshu Chatterjee), a struggling item girl (Puja Bose), and a snooty Bollywood type (Sudhanshu Pandey). The fates of These people get tangled, even as a wily cop (Jimmy Sheirgill) is on the chase for Keshav.

Bad writing comes in the way of anything remotely gripping That might seem. Leander just served a double fault. I've made a wrong career move, that too With The Wrong debut vehicle.
