Dhenikaina Ready makers in legal trouble for insulting Brahmins


Hyderabad: A case was filed against tonight Telugu actor-turned-producer Mohan Babu and three others for Allegedly insulting the Brahmin community in his latest movie Ready Dhenikaina. However, Mohan Babu Asserted there was nothing in the film That insulted Brahmins or any other community.
Following a court directive, Malkajgiri police filed the case against Mohan Babu, Manchu Vishnu his actor are Brahmanandam and comedy performer, who star in the film Dhenikaina Ready, besides its principal G Nageswar Reddy, on charges of criminal conspiracy and Promoting enmity Between different groups on grounds of religion and other relevant sections of the IPC, a senior police officer said.
The members of a Brahmin association had filed a petition before a local court against Dhenikaina Ready maker Mohan Babu and others accusing them of insulting Brahmin Allegedly Their culture and hurting sentiments. After the court hearing Their petition had directed the police to register a case and Investigate.
Yesterday, different Brahmin Associations held a demonstration in front of the actor's house in Film Nagar over Alleged derogatory portrayal of Their community and Demanded a ban on his son's film Ready Dhenikaina. The protesters Alleged That Belonging to the Brahmin priests Were Shown community in poor light in the film and Demanded a ban on the movie as well as an apology from Mohan Babu.
