Shyam Benegal addresses film making students at AISFM

Legendary film maker, Shyam Benegal, who has received the prestigious ANR award recently, has Addressed the Annapurna students at International School of Film and Media (AISFM).

"Discuss the films threadbare, deconstruct them, come up with your own ideas, and reconstruct the film. Then you will come to know the nature of the film and the vocabulary, Which is very important for film makers today".

Also I Praised the young film makers who are being trained in film schools. "I see a great future for Indian film industry. The young directors are being trained and Their brilliantly cinematic vocabulary has been excellent. Most Importantly, there is freshness in ideas, and great force in them ".
